About Us
Western Tourist Radio operates stations in the South West of WA and online “telling the stories of people and places in Western Australia”. Our website is an independent visitor information portal connecting travelers directly to local businesses.
Barry Green grew up on a orchard in Donnybrook and later bought a farm in the area. For over 20 years he and wife Dale operated Boronia Farm Farmstay, and continue to operate https://www.farmstaywest.com.au/ as a network of farm accommodation, connecting travellers direct to local businesses so that they can book direct and save on commissions.
Barry is involved organic / regenerative agriculture and in community and tourist radio “telling the stories of people and places in Western Australia, via radio and podcast” . Barry has coined the term “Regenerative Media” to describe the program format.
