We are a member-based association, driven by a shared passion for promoting the unique experiences and diverse offerings of our state’s agricultural sector.
Our Values:
Our actions are guided by the following core values:

Our History:
The Western Australia Agritourism Association was founded in 2024 by three passionate individuals: John Stanley of Chestnut Brae Farm in Nannup, Jan Stewart of Forage Safaris in Busselton, and Andy Burns of Scott Aussie Tourism Marketing in Manjimup. They recognised the potential of agritourism to contribute to the economic and social well-being of rural communities and set out to create a platform for collaboration and growth within the industry.
What We Do:
The Western Australia Agritourism Association actively supports its members and the broader agritourism industry through a range of activities:
- Advocacy: We represent the interests of our members to government and other stakeholders, advocating for policies that support the growth and development of agritourism.
- Networking: We organise events and provide platforms for members to connect with each other, share ideas, and learn from industry experts.
- Education & Training: We offer training programs, workshops, and resources to help members improve their businesses and gain new skills, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in the agritourism sector.
